Nueva Vizcaya eco-tourism park to host 11th National Caving Congress
BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya , March 19(PIA)- Provincial officials here are closely supervising the the ground works being carried out in preparation for its hosting of the 11th National Caving Congress slated next month.
The more than 1,000 hectare Lower Magat Eco-Tourism Park(LMETP) in barangay San Luis in Diadi town will serve as the venue for this year’s caving congress which will be participated by caving enthusiasts, cave guides, spelunkers and local and foreign tourists.

LGU-Mabini wins prize at Pista’y Dayat 2010

This is the first time LGU-Mabini joined the 3rd Tourism and Trade Expo held during the provincial Pista’y Dayat (Sea Festival) celebration and garnered 3rd Prize in the Best LGU (Local Government Unit) OTOP booth category. The expo, named “Aliguas ed Turism tan Ekonomiya,” is open to all Pangasinan LGUs and MSMEs (Micro-Small-Medium Enterprise) to showcase their prime tourist destinations, tourism services and local products. This year the expo runs from 29 April to 9 May with the awarding of prizes scheduled on 7 May.
SoCal Grotto donates caving equipment to BC

6 Feb 2010 - As part of the SoCal Grotto’s Christmas party, Incoming Chairperson Betty Farfan, Daniel Veelik and Charley Nelson ask their fellow SoCal Grotto members to donate used but serviceable caving equipment for the newly formed Balincaguin Conservancy (BC) Grotto. They had planned to bring the donated equipment to the BC Grotto when they go back to the Philippines in early 2010.
